Organizado por Brumaria y por el Museo Reina Sofía, y dirigido por Juan Albarrán y Darío Corbeira, el seminario Arte y Transición reúne a un grupo de artistas e historiadores del arte con el objetivo de confrontar sus análisis sobre las relaciones entre arte y política durante el proceso conocido como “transición democrática”.
El seminario recupera iniciativas y espacios prácticamente olvidados, problemas relacionados con la construcción de la institución-arte, las paradojas de la militancia y el papel de los medios de comunicación.

Organised by Brumaria and Museo Reina Sofía, and directed by Juan Albarrán and Darío Corbeira, the seminar Arte y Transición brings together a group of artists and art historians with the aim of facing their opinions on the relation between art and politics during the so called process of "Transición Democrática".
The seminar recovers initiatives and spaces that have almost been forgotten, problems related to the construction of the art institution, paradoxes of militancy and the role of the media.
