The iconic Rolling Stones will share with their fans a piece of their history when they release a photo book to mark their 50th anniversary with some never-before-seen photos and text to celebrate their career.

Fans can expect to pick up a copy of The Rolling Stones: 50 this July, CBS News reports, equipped with 700 illustrations and 353 pages of the band throughout their career.

“This is our story of 50 fantastic years," explained front man Mick Jagger, Keith Richards (guitar), Ronnie Wood (bass) and Charlie Watts (drums) in a joint statement. "Curated by us, it features the very best photographs and ephemera from and beyond our archives."

The book will be released on July 12, which is 50 years to the exact day the Stones burst on to the scene at the Marquee Club on Oxford Street in London.

The new book, published by Thames & Hudson in Britain, will feature 700 illustrations, many taken from the archive of the Daily Mirror tabloid, which contains the largest newspaper collection of Rolling Stones photography.
